Constança Vasconcelos Dias is a Portugal-born designer with a rich background in editorial design, backed by a Master’s in Editorial Design and Contemporary Typography from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon (FBAUL). She also expanded her horizons during an Erasmus+ program at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Naples. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor’s in Communication Design from FBAUL.
Constança brings over seven years of experience, with a focus on editorial design while also working across brand design, brand strategy, event design, web design and community management. Having worked extensively for a nonprofit over the past five years, Constança’s design work is rooted in a sense of responsibility for social causes.
Her work is inspired by nature, handwritten notebooks, and the comforting sense of familiarity, but she always prioritizes clarity and ease of understanding in her designs. Constança has held roles at notable design agencies such as By (WY group) and Ivity Brand Corp, and progressed from head designer to creative director at the non-profit Just a Change. She’s also been involved in impactful projects like Cresce e Aparece, which aims to clarify the election process in Portugal.
With a holistic approach to her creative process, Constança dives into research, exploring the social and historical context behind each project, while maintaining flexibility to adapt her vision. Beyond her professional projects, she constantly explores new techniques and creative practices, believing that even small, seemingly meaningless creations contribute to her overall artistic growth. At the core of her work is a commitment to community and a people-first philosophy, always striving to bring out the best in those around her.
Living by the motto “Jack of all trades, master of none—but still better than a master of one,” Constança embodies versatility and creativity in every project she undertakes.
